Now supporting the Friends of Alfie Johnson Arrowsmith is delighted to be supporting local charity The Friends of Alfie Johnson.

Alfie Johnson is an 8 year boy who suffered severe brain damage at birth.  He was left with a number of complex conditions which mean that he is unable to walk, talk, sit, feed or drink unaided.  Alfie will need specialist 24 hour care for the rest of his life as a result of his injuries.

The Friends of Alfie Johnson were initially just that: a group of friends who came together to raise money in order to give Alfie the best possible quality of life and help his family to look after him.  Whilst Alfie continues to need support the group incorporated as a charity in order to help other children in Alfie’s positon.

The Friends of Alfie Johnson runs a variety of fund-raising events including the legendary Summer Ball (this year on 2nd July 2016) and Team Alfie, who Friends of Alfie Johnson Summer Ballparticipate in the Great Midlands Fun Run.

The group needed help to manage its website with both content updates and some search engine optimisation.  One of the key activities is to raise awareness of the funding that The Friends of Alfie Johnson has available for children with disabilities.
